Scam Description
My daughter sold her prom dress online via Poshmark for $250 and was contacted by Lucy080257@gmail.com to purchase her dress, stated she would send a cashiers check with the amount from California. Received the cashiers check via USPS with a return name and address of Veco Shopper Inc, 1411 Misty Glen Lane, Dallas, TX 75232, from Golden 1 Credit Union in California in the amount of $1550.00 with a letter of instructions of how we were supposed to proceed. After reading over the letter we have determined it was a scam. I have attached the letter below.
