Scam Description
I had responded to an advertisement about being paid for putting a decal on my car for Fiji water I received a response on a website called jotform they then proceeded to text me directly telling me that they were going to send me a check after a few days I received a cashier’s check in the amount of $3,200 upon informing the individual texting me that I had received it they insisted upon me depositing it into my personal bank account withdrawing $800 of the $3,200 and sending the remaining amount to a Mr William in order for him to apply the decal to my vehicle upon questioning the legitimacy of the entire process the individual became very insistent and unprofessional in regards to me depositing the money and moving forward with the process when I informed them that I did not believe the legitimacy of the process and that I would not be depositing the check nor going forward with the process they became insistent upon me sending the check back to them and proceeding to tell me that where I to not send the check back to them that they would contact the FBI and have the FBI sent to my home I have taken screenshots of the text message conversation and will keep them in my records as well as any emails from the supposed business or individual and can provide them upon request
