Scam Description
I received a check through united postal service for smart water car wrap they wanted me to deposit the check through Moblie app then wire money to them so someone can come out & put a wrap on my car and I were to keep 600 out of the 2945 and send the rest and weekly I would get the 600 , it’s sounded good at 1st I did deposit the check but something just wassnt sitting right in my mind with the letter so I then did some research online and all these car wrap scams came up same situation like mine I then contacted my bank informed them of everything & they canceled the check thank the lord but they have my home information and that’s very scary so I just wanted to make this aware it’s a old scam and it’s resurfacing.
