Scam Description
It started with me doing a quick apply thru what seemed to be a recruiting site. I received an email offering me the position as Financial Manager. I was given a link to an employment contract to sign. Nowhere on this contract was there an employer company name listed. The email said that they would be my direct manager and would train me. It offered a salary of $5k a month. Red flag! No interview, just sign here. So I didn’t sign but I emailed back asking this person for more information about the company because the company name on his email didn’t match the email address. So far, no response. Imagine that! I looked up the person’s name and company and I found a compliant here with the same person’s name. Apparently this person sends checks and has people cash them and then it blows up from there. Good thing I’m suspicious.
