Scam Description
I was emailed by a supposed recruiter about an interview I did with a Tech Contractor client, saying I had the job offer and asked to provide information including my bank account to for check deposits. I later found out that wasn’t the recruiter who got me the interview and asked them to remove all my information from their website. A few days later, i was contacted by a suppsed Bank of America representative who deals with Zelle, saying a fraud account was being opened and I needed to cancel the transferred by sending a Zelle transfer with a cancellation code. It turns out they were scammers who probably go the information from that recruiter.
