Scam Description
I applied for a job on Indeed and was contacted by a Richardo Garcia for a Skype interview. Was offered the position, but I had to purchase the equipment with “funds” provided by them from “their trusted provider”
I was to mobile deposit this check that was emailed to me. No W4 or I9 was ever suggested or sent to me.
When I received the emailed “CHEQUE” I called the bank that was listed on the check and the account didn’t exist nor did they have a client/customer by this name
