Scam Description
I got a text from someone saying that they found my resume on indeed and that they had a job opportunity and if I wish to follow up on that that I could contact the hiring manager on the signal app and went through the whole thing but like he was kind of upset when I would ask him questions like he would always can we proceed can we proceed and I was just like okay and so they sent me a check through FedEx I got the check I took it to the check cashing store but I couldn’t cash it cuz it was too late to verify the bank so they sent me a check for $4,980 to get a computer and software and stationary etc but when I asked him what I would be doing he never did give me any straight answers and I haven’t been able to contact him since I sent him the thing where it said that I couldn’t deposit into my mobile deposit
