Scam Description
Got a text to use Microsoft team software to talk to the hiring manager for the company if I am interested in the Data Entry job. In the text message I got said to contact Chris Cooper – Senior Telecom Recruiter and I did. I went through all the process of getting hired. I look up the company name and he was on the site too. So, I thought the job was not a scam. I got a check to get everything I needed to start the job I got hired for. I get an email of the check and deposit it into my bank account through zelle, he wants a picture of the deposit but the check bounce. I text Chris Cooper back to let him know what happened and never got a response back from him. I think he just wanted my bank account number when he wanted the picture of the deposit receipt. Still no response from Mr. Cooper…
