Scam Description
First, I received an email from Ben Suh, Manager of Global Business Planning Team & SPHR. He offered a position related to my field. I didn’t apply for this job. He found me through Indeed. He sent me a document with the steps to contact the hiring manager.
Secondly, I followed the instructions and contacted Ryan Jung through Zoom, who called me and gave me an appointment for the next day.
The next day I had the interview through chat. I never saw a person. 24 hours later contacted me again and gave me the position. I sent the offer back together with my DL.
He said I needed to buy the start-up equipment and would send me a check to begin the training process. At that moment, I discovered something was wrong and cut off communication with him.
