Scam Description
I was contacted through text message by a Yesira Paul from Greenvolt Group. She said that my resume was approved for a Remote Data Entry Clerk/Customer Service/Administration Assistant position with a rate of $35.75/hr.
I found this strange because I never applied for this position or a position like this. I had previously been contacted about a similar position with multiple roles like this one that turned out to be a scam so I had a suspicion from the start that this one was too.
Anyway, “Yesira Paul” asked me to kindly download and setup the Signal App to my mobile device. Then add the HR manager Catarina Pires using this Number 501 203-9574 and send a message to commence the online interview/briefing and comprehensive job details ASAP.
The fact that this role was too good to be true and that she was trying to rush me through the process set off alarm bells in my head. I ended up searching google for “Greenvolt group scams” and found out I was right and that this role was indeed a scam. Disappointed but not surprised, I quickly blocked the number and went about my day.
