Scam Description
I was contacted via texted by someone who was called Brooke Neilsen. This person claimed to be a Talent Acquisition Specialist for Parsyl Inc.
She texted me:
“Hi, I am Ms.Brooke Nielsen I’m the Talent Acquisition Specialist for Parsyl Inc and I am pleased to inform you that your resume posted online has been reviewed and forwarded to the Management Team of Parsyl Inc for an interview are you available and willing to undergo this interview…?”
“The positions available are: Accounting Manager, Administrative Assistant, Finance and Accounting, Typist Clerk, Project Management, Customer Care/Customer Relationship Manager, Tech Support, Verification Entry, Business Support, Program Management.
This interview procedure will be a computer/smartphone based interview and it will be done via “Signal Messenger” OR Telegram, do you have either “Signal Messenger or Telegram Messenger on your PC or Smartphone to enable you commence with the interview.?”
“Quickly search and download “TELEGRAM” (Telegram messenger) App from the app store on your smartphone. Let me know once you’ve done that for the next steps.
Once downloaded, Have Telegram Setup with your Phone number.”

*** “The funds for those requirement’s will be provided to you via the company’s expense check…Is that understood. ?” (RED FLAG)
“Make sure you use them as instructed for the requirements. You will also be trained by your Supervisor on how to use the requirements. The company will provide you with a brand new Laptop to power up these programs.”
“I will email you a PDF format (scanned) of the front and back of the company’s check. I need you to print out the check in a plain paper, cut the edges and you will deposit into you Bank account via your BANK APP then funds will be credited into your account for withdrawal for the purchase of your software programs..I believe you can handle this task as instructed. ?
Scanned/PDF format check options just to speedup your process instead of waiting for the check to arrive via Mail.”
(I was confused about why they would want me to buy the software programs if they were going to provide me with a brand new laptop. Why am I suppose to buy the software when they have their own IT persons to download the software into the laptop?)
“I believe you’ve your Bank App on your Smartphone to enable you initiate this process and you’re familiar with the mobile deposit option. ?”
(My response was that my smartphone was old and could not download nor update any apps.)
“Oh okay
We would have to mail an actual physical check to your home address.”
“As soon as the check has been issued out to you I will notify you and provide you with the tracking number so you can keep track and know when it will get to you okay. ?”
The next day:
“The check for the purchase of your required Programs has been scheduled to be delivered Tomorrow.
Will you be available to receive the Package. ?”
*** I never received any Package, and there was no mention about the check afterwards.
A few days later:
“I’m about to share an important info with you shortly.
The company will be giving you a new position to handle due to some emergency leave, the accounting officer will be out for a while and you will be needing to replace him until he’s fully back on it, I believe that won’t be an issue. ?”
“You will be receiving funds and disbursing them to where it’s needed, and for every transaction you would be getting 10% (that would be your pay until you get back to your position fully)
After evaluating you are the perfect fit of this position, because you’ve very active and you’re able to type and reply Fast, Trust me you would love this position.”
“You only work when you have a transaction to handle, and since you’re familiar with bitcoin, it makes everything easier.
You would be receiving payment via Cashapp, Zelle, bank account, Venmo and PayPal, then you would be disbursing the funds via bitcoin, I believe that won’t be much of a task to handle for you. ?”
“For Example, You received a payment of $1000 via CashApp, You will be disbursing $900 via Bitcoin since 10%/$100 will be your profit
One good thing about this position you get paid anytime you have a transaction to handle and you can handle this with just your Smartphone.”
“Okay, during your stay as the Temporary Account/Transaction manager, Our conversation will be thru WhatsApp

*** During the above conversation, I never had orientation. I never filled out any paperwork stating that I am an employee with Parsyl Inc. I never use any Apps with Bitcoin before.
