Scam Description
On 10/28/22 I was sent a email for a interview via skype. I had been speaking with Leonark regarding a data entry position. I was given a employee handbook and offer letter. It seemed all real until I caught a red flag which where, no one ever called me only via email or skype, the emails all in in gmail.com. Today while speaking about training and on boarding the gentlemen stated that a check would be sent in the mail and I should deposit it into my account, also I was told I should meet someone at a location before training to which i did not. That’s when I knew it was fraud and I block the gmail account and have not given and bank information at all, However i did fill out a W4 form and a previous employer form only. The job post was on Indeed and I have reported the fraud to them as well today 10/31/22.
