Scam Description
This company reached out to me via Text Message, saying they received my Resume from Indeed, and that I needed to install Telegram for an interview. I immediately got an interview with the Vice President of HR Tony **********. After a quick interview, I was told the information was sent to the head office and to wait for 5 to 10 mins for a response. Got the response back that I got the Job. Tony explained that they would send a check that I would deposit into my bank and use it for equipment and software purchases to set up my home office. When confronted with questions about legitimacy, he could provide nothing other than a response of “This is 100 percent real and legitimate”
