Scam Description
I was contacted by someone claiming to be Andy McClain the CEO of a flooring company called masters Craft company. They told me they had a work from home opportunity for me at $34 an hr and asked me to email my resume. So I looked up the company and Andy McClain is actually the CEO but his email was available and it did not match the email that was given to me. So I texted back and said that’s not Andy McClains official email address. I also asked what the website for the company was and a number for HR to confirm this was real and they did not respond back. I sent an email and screenshot to the real owner of the company to let him know someone was using his name and company to try to scam people. I’ve attached the screenshot of the conversation between me and the scammer.
