Scam Description
I have an interview with Mrs. Ashleigh Denton in the google chat app that lasted about 1 hour and 30 mins. After, interview I was offered the position to work from home with $35 hour with $18 hr during training. I was a check in the amount of $4,890 to purchase all the necessary software and programs needed for the job. I was unable to deposited to my bank so next day I went to Wells Fargo bank which was the bank that the check was issue from. After waiting for the check to be verify, the manager approched me and said that they couldn’t verify the check and she think it was a fraudelent check. I contacted Mrs. Denton and told her what happen all she reply was that it all legit. After a few minutes she sign out of the chat and never heard from her again.
