Scam Description
I was contacted for an at home job position and did an interview and everything seemed normal until they told me they were going to send me money to set up a home office but needed my banking information to send the money. So I did so research. The website seems legit but it’s just a webpage where you cannot actually click on anything. They claim to be a legal company and the address they listed is actually the town hall address. I called town hall and they said there is no such business at that address and then they did a business license search for me on the name of the business I was given and told me there is no such business.
