Scam Description
I was phoned with a job offer and given a short phone interview which seemed suspicious right from the start. They did not ask for any personal information or ID yet. The next step was they emailed a short questionnaire asking about your hobbies, goals for the future and what you want in a job. The last step was an email saying candidacy approved and to fill out the employment agreement included in a link attached. This required sending a selfie holding your drivers license or other id against a sheet of paper with the current date on it. They also wanted a scanned copy of the driver license – both sides. They also wanted you to download, complete and print out the employment agreement, sign it and send it back to them with the ‘best’ picture quality possible.
