Scam Description
I was initially contacted via text message from Andrew Richardson inviting me to an interview via Microsoft teams. After the interview they said they wanted to move forward and explained the offer letter would be emailed to me and that I would be sent a check in order to purchase the necessary programs for the job. Red flag #1. When I received the email it was from Algernonpharmaceuticals@job4u.com and signed Cars For Sale. The phone number listed at the bottom was out of service when I tried calling. I messaged Andrew with these concerns and he shot back with a crack pot excuse saying the email was signed that way because he was away from his desk and the phone number was out of service because it was outside business hours. Red flag #2 & #3. I tried calling the number again this afternoon and still out of service. After confronting him about these things I have not gotten a response.
