Scam Description
I received a letter via postal mail from a debt collector “CRME Financial Services, Inc” stating that I had not paid a medical debt in full to Wester Pathology. I specifically remember paying this company in full for all services and received no letters letting me know that there was any amount left delinquent.
When researching this I noticed that the return mailing address is to a PO Box, which seems suspicious for a large debt collector. I went to the website listed in the letter which Safari flagged as unsecured and which had a banner at the top saying the domain may be for sale… What large debt collector is selling their domain!? Also, the domain name was far too long to be a legit company’s.
