Scam Description
This morning I received a call from an unknown number and I should’ve picked it up but I did. They told me that I was being served with papers today because I was being sued. I asked her why and she said she could not talk to me but she had documents to send to me and wanted to know if I would be home. I asked her for the information of this company and she said all I can do is give you a number. I called the number 866 570 0366 and he asked me my name and I gave it to him. He said you will be served with papers due to a repossession of a Mazda and then I told him sir, I’ve never had a repossession and he began raising his voice, I don’t have time for this. He said you are being sued for a repossession of 500.00 on a Mazda. I asked him why are you raising your voice. I told him I’ve never owed a Mazda. He then got loud again and said, you did in 1997 and you still owe 500 and you’re going to court. He said call AMERICAN Mazda Credit and they will give you the information. Well I called Mazda American Credit and they didn’t have anything on file for me.

I tried to research them and nothing would come up.
