Scam Description
I was the target of a horrible scam. I got an email saying thanks for applying to our job through Linkedin, happily I clicked the link which too me to a Google forms sight I read the job description, and filled out my personal information.. No problem, cool because I had been applying for jobs the previous night so I thought nothing of it really… A few hours later I get an email from the “Co-founder” saying that I was accepted for the job, and that I would be making $6,500/month… (Again, not thinking anything weird) and that I would start on Monday due to the high demand in my area.. I sign the letter and send the signed copy back.. My gut at this point is like let’s ask just to see if we are being scammed, so I have a few family members look over it and they don’t see anything wrong (in the beginning).. So I do a little more digging and I can’t find any information about this company, nothing about this “Co Founder” it’s like it didn’t exist.. Really weird, so just be careful.
