Scam Description
I use my credit card only to pay bills. Last month I had coupons for Kentucky Fried chicken, and White Castle. Two coupons were used at two different KFC’s. One KFC coupon at the drive thru, 25320 Gratiot, Roseville Mich. I used another coupon at KFC at the drive thru 28155 Harper Ave, St Clair Shores, Mich. Then I used the White Castle coupon at the White Castle drive thru at, 26900 Gratiot Ave, Roseville Mich. this is the only time I used my card for anything other than paying bills. I have never used a drive thru. This is the first time I ordered restaurant food since the covid shutdown. The next week I tried to pay my bills, and my card wouldn’t go through. I tried several times, and several ways. I then tried to go into my bank account. It was frozen. I want to the bank, and was told, my card was flagged for suspicious purchases, and withdraws. The only time someone had contact, and handled my card, was when I made the three purchases at the drive thru windows. I gave the worker my card through the drive thru window. while making one of the purchases, they had my card until my food was prepared. I was told that someone could have used their phone, and taken a picture of the front, and back of my card. I hope this can help someone to be more cautious of their cards. the process to get this corrected was so stressful.
