Scam Description
Glad Wags Service Dogs says they take rescue dogs and train them for service dogs. I don’t know what they do but they sure don’t do much with them. One of their dogs didn’t get taken out into public until the handler arrived to work with it. Then when they went back to pick it up it was a total fiasco getting things done at the last minute. Once they got the dog home, anyone could tell how little it was worked with, if any. This particular dog would only heel and come on command. After working with the dog for 2 and a half months it would sit on command but not reliably. This dog would chase squirrel, get excited over seeing people, dogs, and other animals. So excited that it was practically dragging it’s handler. It almost pooped in a store and on top of that you could hear all the bad comments that was sent in the individuals way, about how horribly the dog was trained if at all. Basically the individual payed all lot for a dog they could’ve trained better. I’ve been warning others that need a service dog not to go through Glad Wags. The person was embarrassed to be seen with the dog. Glad Wags can talk a good talk, but the results that come from going through them are not good at all.
