Scam Description
At beginning I tried to pay with paypal or Zelle but he didn’t give me any numbers that worked. I paid $3500. $600 for puppy. $200 delivery. $1400 refundable upon delivery for ins. $800 refundable for shipping crate. $500 for shots. All paid in gift cards except the last $500. That was sent via Zelle, which he said that person (his friend) ran off with. So he wanted another $500. Because I was stupid and desperate to get my puppy, I sent a $500 amazon card. He said that wasn’t good and wanted another $500. He contines to try to extort money from me so I can get puppy. Now the courier is threatening to put puppy in quarantine and charge me with abandonment of puppy unless I pay $500. That is a crock since I asked at least 10 times for address of carrier. No on will provide names. My husband And I in our 70’s so it would be a burden to have to drive 260 miles to get puppy and refund, but we would have had to. Thank you for listening.
