Scam Description
I posted my resume on Monster.com. I got a text message, offering me a position as data entry from home. I did a Zoom interview with them on Friday. But there was no picture it was all writing. I was hired, and they wanted me to be back on Zoom at 8am this morning. They emailed me a check for $2500 for a computer and apps. I got on at 8am, they asked if I was familiar with mobile deposits, and that they have been doing it this way for two years. They told me to print it off, front and back, and do a mobile deposit. they asked if I wanted to start immediately. Once the deposit was made, they said they would give me the name of their supplier. They asked me where I banked, but not for my account number. They said they had worked with my Credit Union, but my Credit Union says they have never heard of them. I was looking for remote work as I am on disability.
