Scam Description
We received a voicemail from Spectrum offering us an opportunity to decrease our monthly payment by 50%. I called them, expressing interest in the reduced rate. That phone number is: 844-877-7267. During the course of the conversation, she said that in order to be eligible for this rate, I would have to purchase two Target prepay gift cards and deposit 250. into each of them before 7:00pm today. I then contacted Spectrum and they confirmed it was a scam. They also provided me a billing department number – 1-855-206-9581.
