Scam Description

Ordered 2 pair of pants from Tumothy November 12, 2022. Gave Tumothy 2 months to deliver order since it was the holidays. On 1/17/23, I emailed Tumothy to notify pants not received, unable to track order with email or order number (wasnt recognized) and refund requested. Email received back 1/18/23 from “customer service” stating “funds have been released back to original pmt method” and “it may take a few business days to be credited (7-14 business days). I again gave them almost a month to refund my purchase and emailed them again on 2/15/23. The same reply verbatim was emailed back to me on 3/22/23. On 4/9/23 I emailed and offered company one last chance before I would pursue contacting Better Business Bureau and social media and received no reply. I have contacted paypal and they state too much time has passed for them to refund me and suggested I attempt to go through my credit card company. I do not want others to get scammed as I have and especially lose out on $55 that I really don’t have to throw around.
