Scam Description
Bright World, LLC mailed a letter with “Rockstar Energy Drink” letterhead claiming to pay money for car to be wrapped in their logo as an advertisement. They sent a check for $3,990.00 from Structure Leasing & Engineering, Inc. (8833 Monterey Road, Suite B. Gilroy, CA 95020). The check was from Wells Fargo Bank. They ask us to deposit the check and then state they will send further instructions. They state that $700 payment will be sent weekly in the form of a check. They also state if we deposit the check within 24 hours, we will get a $200 Amazon gift card.
