Scam Description
Hired PVL to fix pavers & steps. Paid 1/2 upfront. They made excuses, delays and would rarely show up for work when they said they would. Owner James Anthony Yeatts & Foreman Dante Gishie said we also needed a cement footer to hold up our stacked stone wall better with a planter to cover. Paid 1/2 for that second new job. At the same time, they said they finished first job and sent me pictures showing it was completed. Paid second half to first job. It failed immediately because it was filled with dirt, rocks and glued pavers which washed away with monsoon rains instantly! They ripped up the entire front top slope causing major issues with water this summer. The owner James said the 1st job was only “temporary” which is why it failed. Dante told him it was done, but James misunderstood and misinformed me… but promised to return to fix it the right way!! He flaked out, abandoned job site, stop returning messages through Facebook both personal and business pages. He ghosted us and robbed $3200 from us + left us with $8k to repair their damage. They left us worse than before their arrival. Our bricks and pavers are unusable; destroyed by their pounding, cracked/chipped & Loctite glue all over the stones. They are unlicensed, ex-convicts that deserve to go back to jail! I’m sorry I gave them a chance to redeem their negative life history, but hope their karma comes back to them! Now I hope to stop them from taking advantage of others in Prescott & Prescott Valley.
