Scam Description

I was contacted by student plans in early 2017 to help with my student loan debt through public service loan forgiveness. They consolidated my student loans through MOHELA by setting up my account. They have my SSN, date of birth, and other personal information. I am unable to get into my account because the email and security questions were set up by ****** *****. I have been paying them monthly since 2017 $29/mo and over 2000$ total by now. I noticed a red flag this week when they asked for my FSA ID and password. When I went to federalstudentaid.gov to read about scams I realized this was indeed a scam as I should not have been paying monthly OR asked for my FSA ID and password. I have already reported this to the FTC, OIG, DEPT of EDUCATION, and Federal Student Aid. My sister was also using this service and I need to make sure this does not happen to anyone else. I will be calling social security next to make sure my identity isnt stolen.
