Scam Description
I was searching for a debt consolidation loan and received a response that I was guaranteed the requested loan amount along with loan interest, # of payment options and payment amount. In order to proceed, I had to pay $9.95 to https://competitivecredit.com/VerificationNextStep for my identity to be verified with a pic of my license. I received an email saying my verification was completed and to click on the link provided by Personal Loan Guarantee. Once I click on the link it took me back to PersonalLoanGuarantee.com website. On the website it told me how much I would have to pay for a referral fee according to the loan amount requested. I will have to paid $175. I didn’t go any further.
