Scam Description
Scammer arrived at door and offered to fix cracks in driveway by power washing, filling cracks and putting on a coating for $1200.00. He said he would include front porch and sidewalk in this price. Three people came the next day. They did power-wash, filled in cracks with cement and put a thin coat of cement over all. Next day the thin coat was powdery coming off on shoes, a closer look at filling the cracks showed there was little if any skill in applying the cement as there were globs of cement on the edges. The workmanship was very poor and demonstrated that they did not know how to work with cement.. Cracks they filled in with cement began pulling away from the original concrete within a week. Payment was made by check at the end of the work and when all dried and it was obvious that this was a very subpar job we checked the bank. They went straight to our bank and immediately cashed the check after they completed the work. Their business office address is a Mailbox Plus in Greenwood Village, not a legitimate office.
