Scam Description

Slick online catalogue, even a Facebook page. Placed order at end May for a pair of pants. Waited 7 days— just as I began to worry, I received a shipment email, and was billed. 9 days later, item has not been shipped. Sent 3 letters, one asking for a refund. Called customer service 15 July snd after a 15 minute wait. Was told: 1) „Addie “ the customer service rep, told me she would “ put my order on hold”, because she needed to “ ask the warehouse to release permission” for her to refund me — that I “should hear “ from her “by Tuesday”. When I pressured her about her company’s practices— they don’t have the pants and why should I have to wait til Tuesday— she agreed to refund me..BUT ONLY PARTIALLY, because of “shipping costs”— I reminded her nothing had been shipped, then she issued two refunds, one for 85.70 and 10.70 for the shipping. I then got two emails from an “Angela” stating 96.40 wasn’t actually charged to my account, II is just pending because they n ever charge until the item has shipped. However I WAS CHARGED on 07 July As you can see. I don’t know if the refunds ( presently pending ) will go through. I will let you know. I have all correspondence/ contact info and can forward it to you.
