Scam Description
Alan pretends to “consign” items, but carefully targets and selects individuals who are not likely to keep track of the items he is taking. In our case, we were targeted because of the grief we were enduring from our mother’s passing. Alan targets families of elderly people because he knows that they are more likely to be confused or to not catch what is going on. He does not record what he takes from you and, once he takes your items, he pretends that he never took them or pretends to not know how much things sold for. He is the definition of a con artist and a thief.
