Scam Description
I book a trip with the travel agent for July 3rd 2024. The trip was cancelled due to Hurricane Beryl on July 2. The agent stated that I would be refunded in the form of the original payment method on July 19. I have received nothing and the agent has pocketed my money. The agent has since stopped communicating about the refund. I sent the money to her via cash app but it was drafted from my back account. The agent kept saying she could see the refund processing but it was coming from a 3rd party and she could not process the refund until it was returned to her.
