Scam Description
A travel offer was on my Facebook feed. I saw it for several weeks and it sounded good. Was one week In Hawaii, not including airfare. After I scheduled it on the website, a message popped up saying that someone would contact me in 24 hours. The next day I was called by someone saying they were in Texas, needed another $150 to “book” it. I didn’t pay more because it sounded fishy. I have received other calls and they’re from Olympia, Tacoma and Chahallis area. Last call was from Tacoma and I had asked about my vacation and he said he would send me an email from his personal email, he never did. I called the Hotel in Hawaii (the Hilton in Waikiki) and the receptionist said that I wasn’t booked there at all.
