Scam Description
Our computer was locked with a siren going off. We cut it off, but when turning it back on, it was still the same sound and screen, with a phone # to call. We did. After much time following his directions, our computer was unlocked. He then instructed us to go into our credit cards accounts to see if any unauthorized withdrawals had been made. I stopped him there and said I would not do that. Then, we hung up. He did get my cell phone # in the conversation prior to that.
