Scam Description
I called the number that came up when I Googled Dish Network. My new remote wasn’t syncing with my receiver. I was told I would have to pay $106.00 for a new receiver or “streamline” my billing thriugh AT&T/Direct TV because the new remote they sent was a different “version” than my receiver!! I ended the call, called a different number for Dish and my problem was resolved in about two minutes.
Clearly, the fisrt number I called was a scam.
