Scam Description
I received an email saying that my Best Buy account was going to be renewed in the next 24 hours at a cost of $389.99. The message was poorly written and none of the numbers listed seemed to match with Best Buy’s contact info. When I called the customer care number my call did not go through. When calling the customer service number I was connected to someone who immediately asked if I was looking for a refund. He asked for the invoice number in the email and it got quite confusing. I ended up hanging up on the person.
