Scam Description
While on the PCH sweepstakes app after playing a game a pop came on saying I had a chance to win a free gift from Omaha steaks if I took a survey. Then I had 3 chances to pick the correct gift box from several. The 1st box chosen – nothing, the second said I’d won free steaks ( warning Sign! ) & I just had to pay shipping, but I only had 5 min to pay. (Warning Sign! ) Luckily I noticed I never got email confirmation or text. I had fallen for a scam, I checked my card balance & noticed the amount that was deducted was less than the shipping cost, Luckily I used a gift card so I immediately spent the rest on the card.
