Scam Description
I randomly received a text message at 6:43 pm on October 27, 2022 from “Mr. Manuel Franco”, Powerball winner allegedly giving away $500,000.00. The message included a claim code and instructions to send my personal information. I did not engage with the message in any way, which is why I reported that I did not lose money nor did the scammer attempt to take any.
