Scam Description
Was trying to rent a car in Seattle Washington for a trip in Sept. I called and they said that they were running a promotion with Green Dot pre paid card and that the only way that I could get the promotion was to purchase a Green Dot pre paid card. I needed to put a $200 deposit down and the card was to be the amount of $275, $25 a day for three days. When I purchased the card and called back with the card information they claimed that there was a glitch and that I needed to get another card. I told them that I would not get another card. I went try to purchase another card with the first one and that is when I found out that there was no money on the card, that they had already had taken my money.
