Scam Description
I recently purchased a new car from Toyota and financed it through Toyota as well. I believe my information was obtained illegally somehow resulting in several emails posing as Toyota which contained misspelling and special characters. I did not open any of these emails and reported them as spam. However, I also have been contacted via postal mail at least 6 times at this point. All letters have stated they need my VIN and my factory warranty coverage will expire if I do not contact them by a specific date. This is definitely a scam and boarding on harassment at this point.
