Scam Description

I received very official looking Motor Vehicle Notification. I was cautioned to call in to “ensure no lapse in coverage” and warning I would be “financially liable for all repairs after” the factory warranty on my 2014 Toyota expired. Only at the bottom of the card, in very small print, was the disclaimer “US Automotive Protection Services is not affiliated with any auto dealer or manufacturer.”. Had I not been diligent, I would have called in as the card looked as though it came from the DMV or from Toyota and required an immediate response….a phrase also included on the card.
