Scam Description

I received an email invoice from Norton Virus Lifelock for $249 this morning, so I called the number. (1833-493-9599). A man with an Indian accent asked for the last four digits of my order number. He confirmed the number that I was calling from. He asked if I were sitting in front of the computer and I told him no. He told me to go in front of my computer. I told him I can’t, because I was on my way to work. He asked for a good time to call me back, so he can walk me through the refund process. He said that way I wouldn’t have to worry about it renewing again. I told him if he can’t cancel it over the phone, I will go through my bank to cancel it.

He was very persistent, I figure it was a scam trying to gain access to my personal information, so I hung up on him.
