Scam Description
I received an invoice via email yesterday that charged $349.99 for “Geek security services”. I did not order this service. The invoice stated that I have 24 hours to cancel the subscription. The number provided yesterday was 888.973.6992. I called. They wanted me to download an ap “anydesk.com” in order to cancel the subscription. I said I would not. The first person said he would charge me. I called again – same thing except that when I said I would not download anything he hung up. Today I received another invoice but this one used the customer service number 229.354.9997 to cancel the subscription.
