Scam Description
I was on my way home and these two guys who were stopped next to me at a stop light said they would give me a “free estimate” for auto body repair on my vehicle. We pulled over and they immediately started showing me all these pictures of the “work” they had performed and said they’d fix my vehicle in 15 minutes for $600, I said I didn’t have that much and they proceeded to ask me how much I had, LUCKILY I had sensed the scam and lied about how much money I actually had in my bank account hoping that they would deny me service. Dead wrong. They pressed me on a “lower amount” to where I hesitated, and then they started “fixing” all these dents without my approval, I agreed to the amount as they had already touched my car and I knew there was no going back.
