Scam Description
Said they were an acquisition company, stating Winn Dixie from 1997 filed a lawsuit for a returned check back in 1997 for $110.00, they would not provide me any documentation by mail, only by email, which the email address they gave was incorrect, I would not give my email address, they stated the time had expired so they would not be able to send out by mail again. They said Winn Dixie had sent to collections in 2006. Now they are putting a lien on my car and stated I would be summonsed to court if I did not pay the amount of $1,219.87. I am not sure where they are getting information I have never received any information or collection from Winn Dixie.
Received a call first from 256-947-5595 stating I had a legal matter and gave me a different number to call, which was the 855-705-0063 number.
