Scam Description
I made an appt. through instagram with a stylist claiming 10 years of experience. Not only was this untrue but when it came time for the appt. I realized I was pulling up to someone’s home. Not only was there another “client” but multiple residents walking through the home. Later I found out the stylist was unlicensed. The tools were not sanitized or clean as far as I could tell and I was quoted one price for a service I didn’t receive. I was booked for xs box braids and was given large braids that shortly after started to unravel and mat on top of the fact that it was skimpy and lifeless. when i came to the stylist to voice my concerns I was offered a mere $20 refund for an $235 service (with no offer to fix anything) that I never received and blocked on all forms of social media and contact. now I have lost my money, my time, and have been having immense itching of the scalp and rash around my hairline so i’m not even sure the style can be saved.
