Scam Description
Ramon Campos of “Handy Pros” found me on Nextdoor when I was looking for a Contractor to work on my parents house. He presented me with his website and sounded knowledgeable. He said he was bonded and insured. Turns out he was a fake and could not do all of the work he agreed to do. He left a lot of the construction trash in the backyard. He refused to fix some of the work he did that was terrible. He also would lie and not show up for weeks. The estimated 8 week project took over a year until I finally fired him and said not to show up anymore. He took advantage of me and my parents. I realized all of his pictures of his “work” were fake. He did not have a team like he said he did. He only had his “brother” Jose come to help him. I want to warn anyone from working with him! He said his friend works at Galaxy Stone and is his neighbor. So I am not sure if that company is also sketchy. He was hired to do my parents bathroom, kitchen, floors, roof, and painting. While most of the work did get done the quality and details were not professional. It took forever to get him to do anything. He would make so many excuses. Then my mother passed away and he took advantage of the situation.
